Every day is a new experience, and this was one of them. When I turned on the lights, I almost jumped out of my pants.
This is an example of a "Pink Panther" attack. I've seen a lot of hootenannies thru my years, but this was a first when it
comes to insulating pipes.

Too each his own I guess.

The scope of this job was to remove and eliminate the oil fired boiler. The owner of the house wanted to gain more space in the garage by
eliminating the 275 gallon oil tank. Hence, not concerned about dual fuel capability anymore, there was no need for the oil-fired boiler.
Thru the years this heating system morphed into a managerie of piping and hootenannies. It was time to sort it out and clean it up.

Now you can leave the lights on, lol.
